Zodiak’s Zack finds buyers

MIPCOM: Animated series Zack & Quack (52×11′) has secured a number of pre-sales here in Cannes with broadcasters in Canada, Latin America and Europe.

Deals have been sealed with Treehouse in Canada, Discovery Kids Latin America, France Télévisions, YLE in Finland and Turkey’s Minika. DVD partners have also been secured in North America, with Phase 4 DVD in the US and Corus DVD in Canada coming onboard.

The show is being shopped by Zodiak Kids, part of Zodiak Rights, which has already licensed the toon to Nickelodeon as its global broadcaster. It is expected to debut on Nick Jr channels worldwide from early 2014.

Produced by Zodiak’s own studio The Foundation in partnership with creators QQD and South Korean animation studio High 1 Entertainment, Zack & Quack follows the adventures of a boy and his best friend, an impulsive young duck.
