Zodiak Spies sales to Sony, ProSieben

Totally Spies has been sold to 150 territories

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) in Italy and ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany are among the broadcasters to have picked up new episodes of a long-running animation series from London- and Paris-based Zodiak Kids.

Totally Spies (156×30’) has been sold to SPT Networks’ free-to-air (FTA) channel Pop in Italy, which has picked up the first four seasons.

Seasons three to five, meanwhile, have been licensed by ProSiebenSat.1’s VoD service Maxdome for Austria and Germany.

In addition, Paris-based Lagardère has picked up seasons one and two as well as Totally Spies! The Movie (1×75’) for its French FTA channel Gulli and cable channel Canal J.

Dubai-based eVision has acquired the fourth season of the show for both its linear channel E-Junior and its on-demand app in the Middle East and North Africa, while MBC has bought the SVoD rights for seasons four to six and the feature film in the Middle East.

US distributor FilmRise has also acquired SVoD rights to all six seasons of the series for the US and three seasons for Canada.

Zodiak Kids has distributed Totally Spies worldwide for 15 years, selling it to 150 territories. The show follows three Beverly Hills girlfriends as they balance life at high school with international espionage.
