Zig Zag, R&A pitch Ballesteros doc

London-based indie Zig Zag Productions is working on a feature-length documentary charting the life of Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros.

Golf’s governing body The R&A and LA and UK media and technology company Egoli Media will also produce the doc titled Seve, which is slated to premiere during this year’s Ryder Cup.

The 1×90’ doc explores the life of Ballesteros from learning the game on the beaches of Cantabria to becoming one of the most decorated and celebrated golfers in the game’s history.

It features interviews with his family and fellow golfing heroes including José María Olazábal, Colin Montgomerie, Gary Player and Bernard Langer. Broadcast partners are yet to be announced.
