Zelda Camilleri moved up to global head of TV and SVoD sales at StudioCanal

French production and distribution company StudioCanal has promoted Zelda Camilleri to global head of television and SVoD sales.

Camilleri joined the Canal+-owned company in 2016 as TV and SVoD sales manager for France, before being promoted to director of sales for France in 2020. She began her career in TV and film as a lawyer at Pathé Distribution in 2014.

In her expanded role, she will now additionally oversee sales in all of StudioCanal’s key territories, including the UK, Germany, Benelux and Australia.

Camilleri will continue to report to chief commercial officer Anne Chérel, who said: “With StudioCanal’s expansion in film and TV production, and the strong potential of our prestigious library titles, it is essential to structure our TV/SVoD sales globally and cross-functionally. Zelda’s experience and strategic vision will be key assets in driving our growth in these key markets.”
