Genius Plants (2×52’) is a 4K show from Mona Lisa Productions and Thierry Berrod, and will be delivered in spring 2022. The two-parter explores the “spectacular machinery” behind various plants’ methods of survival.

Climate Change: The Brain Paradox (1×52′) is directed by Raphaël Hitier and produced by Un Film à la Patte, and is slated for completion in summer 2021. The show looks at how society seems unable to comprehend the issue of climate change and looks at whether the human brain might be to blame.

Lastly, Micro-organisms: The Air We Breathe (1×52′) reveals all the microscopic life that lives in the air. The show is directed by Claire-Julie Parisot and produced by Les Films en Vrac, and will be delivered at the end of this year.

“The audience is hungrier than ever for surprising and uplifting science, environment and social change-themed stories that help us make sense of our new world,” said Chloé Persyn-Preljocaj, head of distribution at ZED. “And these three projects tackle those topics through innovative angles.”
