ZDFE to shop post-WWII Germany doc

German distributor ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) has added a new documentary about Germany in the 1940s after World War II to its sales slate.

Lawless (2×50’, 1×50’ special) is coproduced by ZDFE in collaboration with fellow German firm Februar Film for local broadcasters ZDFInfo and ZDF.History.

Looking at the period from the end of the conflict in 1945 up until 1949, the doc uses archive footage, witness interviews and new footage filmed in 12 different locations in Germany. It is currently in post production and will be available in spring 2021.
