ZDF Studios snaps up Czech dramas

The Markovic Method: Hojer, produced by TV Nova and Blue Hills Production

NEWS BRIEF: German distributor ZDF Studios has partnered with the Czech Republic’s Voyo TV to distribute two of its dramas, both based on true stories, The Markovic Method: Hojer (6×55’) and The King of Sumava (6×45’, two seasons 3×45’).

The Markovic Method: Hojer, produced by TV Nova and Blue Hills Production, is a finalist in this week’s C21’s International Drama Awards. The King of Sumava was produced by Lucky Man Production. Both titles are Czech originals for Voyo Czech Republic and have premiered on Voyoi CZ, the SVoD platform owned by the commercial FTA channel Nova TV CZ. ZDF now holds worldwide distribution rights excluding Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Russia and the Balkans.
