ZDF Studios promotes unscripted director Linette Zaulich to head of B2C

ZDF Studios in Germany has appointed Linette Zaulich as head of B2C, in addition to her current role as director of unscripted.

Zaulich will lead the development and management of ZDF Studios’ direct offers to end consumers through licensing to platforms including streaming services, FAST channels and digital marketplaces.

Markus Schäfer, president and CEO of ZDF Studios, said: “Given our extensive catalogue of programmes, direct-to-consumer formats such as VoD and FAST represent an increasingly attractive international business with multiple growth prospects.

“The rapidly growing scope of our activities in the now ‘traditional’ licensing of programme packages for the development of channel offerings on VoD platforms, as well as our collaboration with existing and new partners in the FAST sector, requires a centralised, cross-genre management of all tasks.”
