ZDF Studios-owned Content Laden hires German production veteran Eileen Fröhlich

Executive producer Eileen Fröhlich is set to join ZDF Studios-owned Content Laden, led by producing duo Tom Gamlich and Jan Fritzowsky.

As executive producer, Fröhlich will contribute her experience in both studio/comedy and factual/documentary programming to Content Laden.

Fröhlich will join the company in April and will initially oversee the ZDF satire format Die Anstalt, after Content Laden took over production of the show from ZDF’s in-house production arm at the beginning of 2025, in cooperation with Redspider as studio service provider.

Previously, Fröhlich spent over 16 years as executive producer at SEO Entertainment, a Leonine Group company. There, she was responsible for cabaret show Frank am Freitag (BR) as well as formats such as Down the Road (SWR), Das Lachen der Anderen (WDR) and That’s My Jam (RTL+). For the latter, she won the German Television Award twice. She has also been nominated for the Grimme Award several times.

Since being set up in 2023, Munich- and Cologne-based Content Laden has been producing its own formats with a focus on factual entertainment, such as Magic Moves, a social factual programme with the Ehrlich Brothers for ZDF.
