ZDF Studios’ kids streamer Pash to make localised pay TV debut with wedotv

Sci-fi toon Space Nova is among Pash’s programming

ZDF Studios’ kids- and family-focused streaming service Pash is entering the pay TV space through a deal with wedotv.

Pash features more than 500 hours of animation and live-action series from international broadcasters and production partners, including Dibidoo, The Muscleteers, Space Nova, H2O – Mermaid Adventures and classics Lassie, Peter Pan and The Jungle Book.

Pash was previously a digital-only service but will now launch in localised versions on wedotv in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland, and will also be available in English across the Middle East, northern Asia and South-East Asia.

The service is already available via VoD across Europe, North and South America, on platforms including Amazon’s Prime Video (Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, France and Poland), YouTube and a range of local platforms and telcos.

The brand is further supported by audience-targeted content strategies on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook.

Jan Frederik Maul, director junior at ZDF Studios, said: “With wedotv, we gain a strong partner who shares our vision for responsible, high-quality children’s programming. Expanding Pash into additional regions and into the pay TV segment is an important step, ensuring that even more families around the world can access our content.”
