ZDF Can Do Armoza format

Armoza’s I Can Do That!

German broadcaster ZDF has commissioned a local version of Armoza Formats’ primetime entertainment show I Can Do That!.

Endemol Shine Germany will produce the ZDF version, with the first season slated to air in February 2016.

The format was most recently acquired in the Netherlands by SBS, while Mexico, Albania and Croatia are currently airing local adaptations and India’s ZEETV first season finale aired last week.

The format challenges eight celebrities to choose an act to master in a week before they perform it live, with viewers choosing the best. The format emerged from a partnership between Armoza and China’s JiangSu Broadcasting Corp.

US broadcast network NBC recently renewed its version of the show for a second season.
