Yu-Gi-Oh! heads for SABC

Konami Cross Media holds rights to managa series Yu-Gi-Oh!

NEWS BRIEF: South African pubcaster SABC has picked up more than 270 episodes of Japanese anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! for its SABC 2 channel.

Yu-Gi-Oh!, which is based on the manga series of the same name by Kazuki Takahashi, has been developed into a number of animated TV series since the late 1990s. New York-based Konami Cross Media holds the rights to the IP.
