YouTube’s Try Guys head to Food Network

The Try Guys’ YouTube channel has clocked up more than two billion views

Discovery-owned US cablenet Food Network has ordered a special fronted by YouTube stars The Try Guys.

No Recipe Road Trip with The Try Guys (working title) will follow a similar format to Keith Habersberger, Ned Fulmer, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang’s YouTube series Without a Recipe, in which they attempt to make food like ice cream and pizza without looking at a cookbook.

Beginning production next month, the special represents The Try Guys’ first move away from their YouTube channel, which has racked up more than two billion views.

Courtney White, president of Food Network, said: “The Try Guys bring with them an incredible energy and extraordinary sense of humour that is irresistible paired with their devil-may-care attitude as they live up to their Try Guys name in the challenges and adventures they try to take on.”
