NEWS BRIEF: Gibson Films, the storytelling studio arm of guitar maker Gibson, has launched the first part of a limited docuseries about Tony Iommi, the pioneering Black Sabbath guitarist whose sound and vision forged the foundations of heavy metal.

Part one of Iommi: The Godfather of Heavy Metal is curerently available on Gibson TV, the company’s channel on YouTube, and features interviews with Iommi, Brian May, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Yungblud, Scott Ian, John 5, Phil Anselmo and Blackie Lawless. The show’s producer is Todd Harapiak, media director at Gibson.
