Your Honor co-creator Ron Ninio working on thriller The Clinic with Reshet 13 aboard

Ron Ninio, the co-creator, director and showrunner of hit Israeli drama Kvodo, later adapted by Showtime as Your Honor, is co-writing an espionage thriller called The Clinic.

Israeli broadcaster Reshet 13 has boarded the series, which Ninio is hoping to coproduce with US partners.

Amir Oren and Sharon Bar-Ziv are co-writing the series with Ninio, with Your Honor exec producer Rob Golenberg producing.

Based on real characters and events, The Clinic tells the story of Dr Steven Neuman, one of New York’s top surgeons, who is a doctor by day and assassin by night.

Having served in the Israeli Navy commandos, he completed his medical degree in Jerusalem before returning to the US to run a prestigious practice. When Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the FBI uncover a plot to overthrow the US government, they send Dr Neuman, who uses his medical expertise to kill.
