Wildbrain orders preschool series fronted by drag stars Fay & Fluffy

The Fabulous Show With Fay & Fluffy

Canadian kids’ network WildBrain Television has commissioned a preschool series hosted by drag queen duo Fay and Fluffy.

The Fabulous Show With Fay & Fluffy will aim to teach kids empathy and kindness through a cabaret presenting style from Fay Slift (JP Kane) and Fluffy Soufflé (Kaleb Robertson). The duo have been hosting drag kids’ shows in Toronto since 2016.

Filmed before a live audience, the 26-part show will also feature puppets and special musical guests. Kids will also be introduced to themes such as loss, self-esteem and making mistakes.

Toronto’s Lopii Productions is making The Fabulous Show With Fay & Fluffy. Production began earlier in July, with the show set to debut on Wildbrain’s Family Jr channel next year.

The executive producers are Rennata and Georgina Lopez, the twin sisters who founded Lopii in 2018. Ontario’s Sinking Ship Entertainment will distribute the series.
