Wedotv renews DACH sports licensing agreement

Pro Bull Riding is part of the DACH deal

NEWS BRIEF: Switzerland-based AVoD and FAST channel provider wedotv has invested in sports programming rights for its wedotv sports brand in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The company has signed a renewed agreement with horse racing rights distributor HBA media, bringing more than 40 days of live horse racing to the channel. The deal includes the full Crown Jewels Racing package, Cheltenham Festival and the Melbourne Cup Carnival. In addition, wedotv has acquired the rights to major sporting events such as SailGP, Power Slap and Pro Bull Riding.
