Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition features famous couples from the music world

AMC-owned US cablenet WE tv has renewed the hip hop spin-off to its reality show Marriage Boot Camp for a second season.

Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition will return for 10 more episodes in early 2020 after the show made its debut earlier this year, averaging 1.3 million viewers throughout its run.

Produced by ITV America-owned Thinkfactory Media, the series features famous couples from the world of hip hop as they undergo intense counselling and ultimately decide whether their relationship is worth saving or not.

“With our strategic expansion of the Marriage Boot Camp universe, we’ve tapped into a completely new and enthusiastic audience for this longstanding franchise,” said Marc Juris, president of WE tv.

The show is executive produced by Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Erin Richards, Antonia Mattia and Leslie Greif. Executive Producers for WE tv are Lauren P Gellert and Angela Molloy.
