WBITVP, Quebecor Content cook up Canadian version of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing

Hit culinary format 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing

French-Canadian network TVA has commissioned a local language adaptation of culinary format 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing.

The 12-part series will be produced by Montreal-based prodco Pixcom and is scheduled to air next Spring.

Originally created by Lando Entertainment for Food Network in the US, 24 in 24… is part culinary marathon, part social experiment, with 24 chefs facing 24 challenges across 24 relentless hours.

The format is licenced worldwide by Warner Bros International Television Production (WBITVP).

André Renaud, GVP, format and finished sales, WBITVP, said: “Having only brought 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing to buyers at Mipcom this time last year, the series has gone from strength to strength, with a second hit season in the USA, and a third on the way.

“It’s incredible to add to that success with this first international version going to Canada with Quebecor Content, whose strong track record for format adaptation makes them the ideal home for the series.”
