WaterBear dives into eco-themed docs The Grand Swim, Rewilding a Nation

The Grand Swim will raise awareness of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans

Environment-focused VoD service WaterBear has acquired two eco-themed documentaries, The Grand Swim and Rewilding a Nation, for streaming worldwide.

The Grand Swim (1×60’) chronicles ultramarathon swimmer Oly Rush’s attempt to swim around Grand Cayman in the Caribbean to raise awareness of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans.

Rewilding a Nation (1×60’) is presented by Emma Hodson and Robi Watkinson, who travel across Britain and the Netherlands documenting the restoration of wild nature.

Both titles are coproduced by Bournemouth-based prodco Grizzly Productions, with DAL Productions as executive producers.

Lynn and David Coleman, co-founders, DAL Productions, said: “We knew WaterBear, with it’s call to action at the end of every programme, would be the perfect home for both documentaries and we’re thrilled that WaterBear agree and share Grizzly’s passion for active change”.
