WarnerMedia takes Roger to Asia, Oz

Children’s animated comedy series Roger

WarnerMedia has picked up the exclusive pay TV rights and non-exclusive non-linear rights to children’s animated comedy series Roger, for its kids’ channel Boomerang in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Australia.

Aimed at children aged six-to-nine, Roger (78×7’) is produced by Je Suis Bien Content for France Télévisions and distributed worldwide by APC Kids.

The series follows the lively adventures of a little girl and a clumsy alien on a tropical island. Throughout their adventures they trigger small accidents that sometimes grow into major disasters, but (almost) always end on a happy note.

Roger has previously sold to TV5 Québec in Canada, TV5 Monde worldwide excluding Europe, Česká Televize in the Czech Republic, Jetsen Huashi in China, TVB in Hong Kong, Bein in the MENA region and ETB in Spain.

It will air on Boomerang in Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Australia in the fourth quarter of this year.
