WarnerMedia shops at ITV Studios to stock HBO Max in Latin America

ITV Studios comedy-drama Bump

US-based WarnerMedia has agreed a package deal with ITV Studios in the UK that will see scripted titles including The Bay and Bump made available on its HBO Max streaming service in Latin America.

The deal is the first in the region for the commercial and production arm of the UK commercial broadcaster and the WarnerMedia streamer.

It will bring premium scripted shows including Romulus (seasons 1-2), the epic story of the creation of Rome from Gomorrah producer Cattleya; comedy-drama Brassic (S1-3); and crime hit The Bay (S1-3) to Latin American screens for the first time.

Bump, an original comedy-drama series created and co-written by Kelsey Munro, follows Nathalie Morris as Oly, an ambitious and high-achieving teenage girl who has a surprise baby. The show was also acquired recently by the BBC in the UK for BBC1 and its iPlayer service, as well as The CW in the US, Sky in New Zealand and CBC in Canada.

Along with premium drama and comedy, the deal covers factual title April Jones: The Interrogation Tapes.
