Walter Presents secures ZDFS dramas for US and UK

The Shadow

NEWS BRIEF: Global Series Network (GSN), the company behind VoD service Walter Presents, has licensed a range of scripted titles for the US and UK from Germany-based distributor ZDF Studios (ZDFS).

The deal, brokered by Yi Qiao, director of drama for ZDFS, includes The Shadow (6×45’) and Danish series Suplex (4 x 42’), both of which are heading to the US. Dramas bound for the UK comprise season three of Sløborn (3×90’, 6×45’) and The Shadow, plus a number of re-licensed shows. Previous scripted sales by ZDFS to GSN included Hide & Seek, Maltese, Ku’damm 56 and The Crimson Rivers.
