Walliams kicks off ITV’s Nightly Show

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has commissioned a daily entertainment series, with comedian and writer David Walliams set to host the first week.

The Nightly Show will be a 30-minute entertainment series airing in ITV’s 22.00 slot.

The show, produced by Second Act Productions, will be stripped five nights a week for an eight-week run, featuring a different big-name host each week. David Walliams will be in the hot seat for launch week.

The famous faces hosting the show will oversee topical monologues, studio games, celebrity guests, experts and VT’s.

The Nightly Show will be recorded ‘as live’ each day at 18.00 in a converted studio in a central London location.
