La Voz Kids (The Voice Kids) on Telemundo in the US

A broadcaster in French-Canada has become the latest to commission a junior version of Talpa talent format The Voice.

TVA will air a local version of The Voice Kids following a deal with Talpa Global, the distribution arm of the ITV-owned production company.

Having first aired in the Netherlands in 2012, The Voice Kids has now spawned more than 30 local productions, according to Talpa.

Broadcasters to have commissioned The Voice Kids include Zee Network in India, Telemundo in the US and ITV in the UK, which is due to begin airing the format next year alongside The Voice, which it poached from the BBC.
