VIS shoots Telefe, Paramount+ show

Comedy-drama El Primero de Nosotros (The First of Us)

Cameras are rolling on a new show from ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) that marks the return of fiction series to Argentinian broadcaster Telefe’s primetime schedule.

El Primero de Nosotros (The First of Us) is a comedy-drama that will air on Telefe in the first half of this year. It will also be featured on the exclusive streaming line-up of Paramount+. VIS, Telefe and Paramount+ are all part of US media group ViacomCBS.

Written by Ernesto Korovsky and Romina Moretto with the collaboration of Micaela Libson and Juan Ciuffo, under the direction of Jorge Bechara, the show follows a group of friends whose lives are changed forever when they find out one of them has a terminal illness.

The series is being shot in Buenos Aires under enhanced Covid-19 safety measures and protocols, said VIS. The show stars Benjamín Vicuña, Paola Krum, Luciano Castro, Jorgelina Abruzzi, Damián de Santo and Mercedes Funes.
