Virgin Media adds sci-fi on demand

NEWS BRIEF: UK cable company Virgin Media has launched a sci-fi and fantasy area within its TV On Demand section, offering nearly 150 hours of programming from the likes of Warner TV, FX UK and ContentFilm.

Virgin Media Television’s XL package customers, or those subscribing to TV Choice, will have unlimited access to shows such as Babylon 5 and Star Trek, as well as contemporary science fiction series such as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The area will be updated with new shows each month.
