Virgin Island, Monsters of the Deep headline Passion Distribution’s Mipcom slate

Passion Distribution will unveil Virgin Island at Mipcom

UK-based sales house Passion Distribution has unveiled its Mipcom slate, which includes factual entertainment format Virgin Island.

The 6×60’ title, produced by Double Act for Channel 4 in the UK, is a social experiment which sees 12 virgins taken to a luxury island retreat where they try to overcome their sexual insecurities.

In Cannes, Passion will also shop Monsters of the Deep (2×60’, Mentorn Media and Krempelwood for Channel 5), in which wildlife presenter Steve Backshall reveals the secrets of the seas. Factual entertainment series Love My Face (4×60’, Flabbergast TV for Channel 4), meanwhile, sees people with facial differences offered support by experts.

Single documentary titles on Passion’s roster include The Great Kim Kardashian Robbery (1×60’, Firecracker Films for BBC Three), Sophie Morgan’s Fight to Fly (1×60’, Hello Sunshine & Making Space for Channel 4), Dead Calm: Killing in the Med? (1×90’, BBC Current Affairs for BBC Two), Being Hijra: India’s Trans Model Agency (1×60’) and The Plymouth Shootings (1×60’).

Also to be shopped at Mipcom are factual entertainment series Young Midwives of Essex (8×60’), Paddy & Molly: Show No Mersey (8×30’), Yorkshire Air 999 (10×60’, by Air TV), royal docuseries Kate, true crime series The Incident Room (6×60’), Emma Willis: Delivering Babies S4 (6×60’, Firecracker Films), The Royals: A History of Scandals S2 (6×60’, Hello Mary) and Unreported Worlds S40-46 (39×30’, ITN Productions).
