Vincent TV names ex-NewBe exec Lisa May Visser as creative director of fiction arm

Dutch production firm Vincent TV has appointed former NewBe executive Lisa May Visser as creative director of its fiction arm.

Visser will join the Amsterdam-based team to further develop the company’s scripted ambitions beyond TV drama and into feature films. She takes up the new role on November 1.

Visser worked at NewBe for nearly seven years, starting as head of fiction and later becoming head of development and financing for scripted.

Before that, Visser was a production manager for companies including Pupkin Film, Fox Sports and Eyeworks, working on shows such as film series Misfit and Netflix original comedy series Toon.

Together with fiction producer Kennard Bos, we are confident they are a powerhouse in the scripted world and will bring great stories to life for audiences in the Netherlands and beyond.”

In other news at Vincent TV Fiction, the firm has launched its first production at Utrecht’s Dutch Film Festival, a short film titled Monkey Business (Voor Aap), produced by Kennard Bos and Indra Baars and directed by Everon Jackson Hooi.
