Vice Media alum Giorgia Crepaldi named chief growth officer at Casta Diva
Italian production company Casta Diva has appointed former Vice Media executive Giorgia Crepaldi as chief growth officer.
Crepaldi will be in charge of building a network of Italian and international talent, identifying new markets and building strategic partnerships.
She will report to CEO Fabio Nesi and will expand and consolidate the company’s global network of offices.
Crepaldi comes from an entrepreneurial background as co-founder of EPIK, a communications firm specialising in branded content and reputation.
Before that she was part of the global growth team at Vice Media, where she was in charge of developing partnerships and incremental revenue across all the group’s businesses with a focus on the EMEA and North American markets and on projects with cultural impact.
Casta Diva Entertainment was launched in 2021 as the television production arm of Italian media firm Casta Diva Group, with former Banijay executive Massimo Righini taking the role of chief creative officer.
“I am proud to join Casta Diva in such an innovative role for the Italian market,” said Crepaldi. “Current market conditions require adopting a broad perspective for medium- to long-term growth. Our shared goal is to innovate and elevate the offer in a continuously transforming market of content and experiences as well as having the opportunity to give voice and grow a network of creators, producers and directors of the Italian and international scene who are rewriting the rules of branded entertainment.”
Nesi said: “[Crepaldi’s] entry is evidence of our path of continuous innovation that is characterising our company. I am sure she will be a game-changer, not only because she brings a very particular strategic vision on company growth, but above all because she has already demonstrated that she shares with me and the rest of the team an incredible devotion to the search for talent. Our network, already very established at an Italian and global level, will certainly benefit from it and our international reach will be further expanded.”
