Viasat World stocks up on ITVS, All3Media, Beta Film drama

Story House Pictures’ costume drama Sisi is set in the days of the Austro-Hungarian empire

NEWS BRIEF: International broadcaster Viasat World has acquired a number of dramas from ITV Studios (ITVS), All3Media and Beta Film for its channel Epic Drama across Central and Eastern Europe.

ITVS has sold 138 hours of content to the channel, including the newest seasons of franchises Endeavour and Murdoch Mysteries, as well as Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple. Viasat World has secured pay TV and catch-up rights on all titles plus SVoD as part of the deal. It has also picked up detective drama Dalgliesh from All3Media and period drama Sisi, produced by Story House Pictures, from Beta Film.
