Viaplay film to dramatise life of artist Edvard Munch

NEWS BRIEF: Four periods in the life of artist Edvard Munch will be depicted on screen in Viaplay’s latest Norwegian feature, Munch.

Produced by The Film Company, Munch will premiere in Norwegian cinemas on January 27 and on Viaplay on March 24. Alfred Ekker Strande (Ida Takes Charge), Mattis Herman Nyquist (Headhunters), Ola G Furuseth (Made in Oslo) and Anne Krigsvoll (Lilyhammer) play Munch at different times in the film, which is directed by Henrik M Dahlsbakken (Returning Home).
