Viaplay exec Mads Lindemann expands role as head of creative content

Viaplay programme exec Mads Lindemann is expanding his role as head of creative content, where he will lead the Scandinavian streamer’s in-house unit, Viaplay Content Production.

Reporting to senior VP of content and programming director Morten Mogensen, Copenhagen-based Lindemann will also oversee Viaplay’s vodcast and podcast production and entertainment pay-per-view offerings, while playing a leading role in the collaboration between content and commercial partnerships.

Since 2022, Lindemann has been an exec producer and unscripted development exec at Viaplay. Between 2019 and 2021, he was VP of original content when the company was known as Nordic Entertainment Group, prior to which he was programme director for its TV3 channel in Denmark between 2014 and 2018.

Other earlier roles include producer at Snowman Productions and Banijay’s Nordisk Film TV.
