Viaplay adds kidnapping doc to originals lineup

NEWS BRIEF: English- and German-language documentary Natascha Kampusch – A Lifetime in Prison will premiere on NENT Group-owned streaming service Viaplay on February 24.

The three-part series features exclusive interviews with Kampusch, who was held by a kidnapper in Austria for over eight years, with a focus on how victim blaming, conspiracy theories and lack of public empathy have impacted her life.

Produced by Denmark’s Heartland TV, the series is directed and produced by Nicole Nielsen Horanyi (The Stranger).
