Danielson, who has consulted for WNET over the past six months, will be responsible for developing strategies to distribute titles across digital and broadcast platforms, in addition to overseeing its programming strategy.

While consulting for the company, Danielson worked with WNET leadership to implement what the company called a “data-led future-proofing strategy with a focus on multiplatform distribution.”

Between 2017 and 2021, Danielson worked at ViacomCBS, where she led strategy, development and expansion of original content and intellectual property across the digital properties supporting Comedy Central, Paramount Network and TV Land.

Before that, she was the president and founder of Above Average, a digital media company offering creative and production services for comedy programming.
