NBCUniversal (NBCU)’s executive VP of current unscripted production Shari Levine is stepping down from the role.

New York-based Levine will remain involved with the company and transition into a non-exclusive consulting role.

With Levine’s move, Noah Samton takes on the expanded role of head of east coast for unscripted lifestyle current production across all platforms. Samton, who was previously senior VP of current production at Bravo TV, will report directly to NBCU’s head of unscripted content Rod Aissa.

Also set to report to Aissa are Kathleen French and Ryan Flynn, who will divide up overseeing the west coast current production team for NBCU’s lifestyle vertical. Stephanie Steele will continue to oversee the team producing NBCU’s crime shows and Rachel Smith will remain as head of development for docs and lifestyle programming.

Levine has been with the Bravo brand for more than two decades and worked on franchises including Below Deck, Million Dollar Listing and various iterations of The Real Housewives franchise. More recently, she was promoted to work across NBCU’s entertainment brands and its streaming platform Peacock.

In her new consulting role, Levine will work on select documentary and follow-doc projects.
