Verizon grows Kanal D Drama’s US carriage

Turkish drama channel Kanal D Drama has launched on cable provider Verizon in the US, following its debut in the country on Comcast in 2019.

Owned by Turkey’s Kanal D International, Kanal D Drama features Turkish drama series dubbed into Spanish. The channel is distributed in the US and Latin America by Canal+ subsidiary Thema America, headed by CEO Patrick Rivet.

Having first launched in the US as part of Comcast’s Xfinity Latino package, it is now available to subscribers to the Verizon Fios TV Mundo & Mundo Total packages.

In Latin America, Kanal D Drama is available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

International versions of Kanal D Drama are also available in Albania, France and Kosovo.
