V10 Entertainment strikes 10-title microdrama deal with The Jovenshire  

LA-based V10 Entertainment has struck a microdrama-focused content deal with The Jovenshire, the production company led by creator and executive producer Joshua Ovenshire.

Launched in 2017, The Jovenshire has produced content for platforms and brands including Smosh, Dungeons & Dragons and FailArmy. More recently, it has expanded into the microdrama space, producing Love Bombing for ReelShort and with several others in development.

Under the newly announced partnership, Clarion Capital-backed V10 Entertainment has committed to financing 10 more vertical series with The Jovenshire. In addition to shortform vertical series, the partnership will also include traditional production.

For V10 Entertainment, the Jovenshire deal comes after it recently acquired production and rights management company Towerhouse. In 2022, V10 bulked up with the acquisitions of Vin Di Bona Productions (America’s Funniest Home Videos for ABC), Venture 10 Studio Group, Fishbowl Media and Clip Tiger.
