V10, CBS Media Ventures partner on syndicated series with Larry the Cable Guy

LA-based V10 Entertainment and CBS Media Ventures are teaming up for a 52-episode syndicated show hosted by US comedian and actor Larry the Cable Guy (real name Daniel Lawrence Whitney).

The series, titled American Mayhem, will spotlight some of the wildest and funniest moments caught on camera in the US, from backyard mishaps and weekend DIY disasters to pets stealing the limelight and celebrations gone awry.

The companies said a syndicated launch date has been slated for autumn, with an additional premiere window to be announced shortly.

In addition to his stand-up work, Larry the Cable Guy is also the voice of Mater in Disney/Pixar’s Cars franchise and the upcoming Disney+ series Cars Lightening Racers. Last year, he did a stand-up special for Prime Video, while his most recent special is currently streaming on Netflix in the US.

American Mayhem is produced by V10 Entertainment and distributed by CBS Media Ventures. It is executive produced by Maggie Houlehan, Carter Skeath, Rick De Oliveira and John Stevens, in addition to Larry the Cable Guy.
