UKTV’s Nicola Greaves promoted to exec VP of global operations at BBC Studios

UKTV’s director of technology and operations, Nicola Greaves, has been promoted to executive VP of global operations at the broadcaster’s parent company, BBC Studios (BBCS).

In the expanded role, effective from mid-April, Greaves will oversee the management, strategy and delivery of BBCS content for its branded services and distribution businesses.

Her new purview will include global sales delivery, content and business operations, archive operations and post-production. She will report to Martyn Freeman, BBCS’s chief operating officer and general counsel.

Greaves will continue to oversee UKTV’s technology and operations activity, as well as remaining on UKTV’s executive leadership team. Before joining UKTV in 2013, she held leadership roles at Red Bee Media.
