UKTV’s Dave to go Live at the Moth Club with Jamie Demetriou, Cardinal Burns

BBC Studios-owned multichannel operator UKTV has commissioned a show for its Dave network showing comedians including Stath Lets Flats star Jamie Demetriou perform live sketches at the Moth Club in London.

Produced by Baby Cow Productions, Live at the Moth Club (5×60’) will also cover performances from the likes of Natasia Demetriou (What We Do in the Shadows), Ellie White (Stath Lets Flats), Cardinal Burns (Cardinal Burns), Arnab Chanda (Pls Like), Ben Ashenden (The Bubble) and Alexander Owen (Dreaming Whilst Black).

Live at the Moth Club is commissioned for UKTV by Mark Iddon, commissioning editor, and ordered by Cherie Cunningham, Dave channel director. Sarah Monteith and Rupert Majendie are executive producers for Baby Cow with Mark Iddon as executive producer for UKTV.

Iddon said: “Quite simply, the line-up of talent for this show is incredible. Capturing the unpredictable experience of a night out at the Moth Club whilst weaving a narrative around the venue and the people in it, is going to be something quite special. Admittedly it will also be completely bonkers, but special. A special kind of bonkers.”
