UKTV, France Télévisions and ABC among buyers for Canadian series Saint-Pierre 

Canadian police procedural Saint-Pierre

UKTV (UK), France Télévisions  (France), and ABC (Australia) are among the international broadcasters to have picked up Canadian police procedural Saint-Pierre.

The 10×45’ first season was originally produced by Hawco Productions for Canadian pubcaster CBC and is being distributed globally by Fifth Season.

Deals have also been sealed with Disney (Belgium and Eastern Europe), Quebecor Content (French Canada), FreeTV (Israel), Sky (New Zealand) and BBC Studios (BBC NL in the Netherlands and BBC First in Poland).

The drama stars Josephine Jobert (Death in Paradise), Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle, Caught, Jack Ryan) and James Purefoy (Rome, Sex Education, The Following) and first premiered in Canada on CBC and CBC Gem in winter 2025. CBC launched season two of Saint-Pierre (12×45’) on January 5, 2026.

The series is the creation of Allan Hawco, Robina Lord-Stafford and Perry Chafe, with Hawco and Lord-Stafford as showrunners. The cast also includes Benz Antoine (Four Brothers, Get Rich or Die Tryin’), Erika Prevost (The Boys, Dare Me) and Jean-Michel Le Gal (Paris Paris, Accused).

Saint-Pierre is set in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, a remote French territory in the North Atlantic, located just off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada. It follows Inspector Donny ‘Fitz’ Fitzpatrick (Hawco), exiled there after probing a local politician’s corruption.

Saint-Pierre is executive produced by Janine Squires, Erin Sullivan, Robina Lord-Stafford, John Vatcher and Allan Hawco.
