UKTV adds Sneakerhead to Dave’s comedy originals

NEWS BRIEF: UKTV has ordered a scripted comedy produced by Roughcut Television for entertainment channel Dave, with People Just Do Nothing’s Hugo Chegwin starring.

Sneakerhead is written by Gillian Roger Park (The Young Offenders, Avenue5) and also stars TV chef and grime artist Big Zuu in his first TV acting role. The 3×30′ workplace sitcom shines a light on working life for young people in Britain, focusing on the underpaid and demotivated team at a sports shop in Peterborough.
