UK pubcaster Channel 4 orders new reality show Rise & Fall from Studio Lambert

Commercially funded UK pubcaster Channel 4 has commissioned Rise & Fall, a new reality show format from Studio Lambert.

The 18×60’ series will be produced by Studio Lambert (The Traitors, Race Across the World) and Motion Content Group, with All3Media International handling distribution of the format and finished tape.

Sixteen contestants begin the game as equals but soon find themselves either in a position of power as a Ruler, or powerless as a Grafter. They undertake a series of games and challenges to win a cash prize fund only the Rulers can claim.

The show will be hosted by Greg James. The executive producers are Mike Cotton, Colin Whitaker, Kelly Lynn and Mark James for Studio Lambert and Martin Oxley for Motion Content Group. Production executives for Studio Lambert are Diana Focke and Sophie Beck, and Karen Bonnici for Motion.

The commissioning editors for Channel 4 are Alf Lawrie, head of factual entertainment, Vivienne Molokwu, senior commissioning editor for factual entertainment and Cal Turner, commissioning editor of factual entertainment.
