UK nets nab 9 Story animations

UK children’s broadcasters including Cartoonito UK and CITV have picked up animation titles from Canadian distributor 9 Story Media.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood

Turner Broadcasting’s Cartooonito UK channel has taken the first season of pre-school title Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood (52×11′), which originally aired on PBS Kids in the US and has now sold to more than 150 countries.

CITV has also taken the second season of animated comedy Nerds and Monsters (40×11′), which airs on ABC in Australia, Canal+ in France and Africa, and TVE in Spain among others.

Finally, Sony Pictures Television’s Kix channel has taken the first season of Numb Chucks (52×11′).
