UK legal drama The Split heads to Arte.tv

NEWS BRIEF: Franco-German cultural broadcaster Arte’s streaming platform Arte.tv has picked up British legal drama The Split created by Abi Morgan (The Hour, Brick Lane) and originally airing in 2018.

Produced by Little Chick and Sister, The Split centres on a divorce lawyer who causes friction after leaving her family’s firm and was commissioned by UK pubcaster BBC One and Sundance TV in the US. Seasons one and two of the series, distributed by BBC Studios, will be made available on Arte.tv in December.
