UCC showcases six dramas to attach international partners as online pitch initiative goes live

The UCC Digital Pitch initiative, designed to connect six new Ukrainian dramas with international coproduction partners, has gone live, with video pitches for each project hosted online.

Ukrainian filmmakers have not stopped making content, and the Ukrainian Content Creators Pitch 2023 is an initiative to connect the best new projects with international partners to create compelling series for a global audience. The six selected shows are in development at three leading Ukrainian studios and are looking for international partners.

The line-up comprises: Taras, The New Story, Tricker, Nest of Snakes, Potion, Really? and Stolen Happiness, showcasing a broad range of stories and genres by prominent Ukrainian authors and producers.

Backing these stories are UCC founding members and leading Ukrainian media companies FILM.UA Group, Starlight Media, 1+1 Media and Suspilne Ukraine.

The six dramas are currently being reviewed by a selection panel, which will choose three from the six to go through to the financing round, with the winning projects to be unveiled at MipTV in a panel at 17:15-18:00, Lerins/ Riviera 8 on Monday April 17.
