Twofour bolsters sales team

The distribution arm of ITV-owned UK prodco Twofour has made two hires and two promotions to bolster its sales team ahead of next month’s Mipcom market.

Marta Csizmadia is joining as sales executive, responsible for distributing Twofour Group’s formats and finished tape to broadcasters across Central and Eastern Europe, German-speaking Europe, Turkey and Greece.

Csizmadia has previously worked in format sales for Small World and Viacom International Media Networks, as well as in content development for Modern Times Group (MTG) and as sales and acquisitions director at MTG’s production arm Paprika Latino. Prior to that, she was sales executive for Zodiak Rights in London.

Meanwhile, Nicky Shales has been appointed as format support executive. Shales will work with Twofour’s sales team, providing support following format sales and information flow to local broadcasters and producers for their adaptations. She previously produced some of Twofour’s hit UK shows, including The Hotel Inspector and Alex Polizzi: The Fixer.

Additionally, Holly Hodges, former deputy head of sales, has been promoted to head of sales operations and VP of sales for North America, the UK and Ireland, and Australia and New Zealand.

Finally, Eniela Bella has been promoted from senior sales executive to VP of sales for EMEA and Latin America.

Twofour Rights’ Mipcom slate includes Change Your Tune, a new musical gameshow where it pays to be a bad singer. Relationship series A Night With My Ex and baking show Extreme Cake Makers are also available, along with This Time Next Year and Give It a Year.
