TVNZ, Nine among networks landing on BBC Studios’ Green Planet

BBC wildlife series The Green Planet

TVNZ in New Zealand, Nine in Australia and Radio-Canada are among the international broadcasters to have pre-bought BBC wildlife series The Green Planet, fronted by Sir David Attenborough.

The Green Planet, which will look at plants around the world, is produced by BBC Studios (BBCS) Natural History Unit for the BBC and PBS, and coproduced by the Open University, Bilibili, ZDF German Television, France Télévisions and NHK.

Pre-sales have also been secured with DR in Denmark, NRK in Norway, Movistar+ in Spain, ERR in Estonia, LRT in Lithuania, LTV in Latvia, RTVS in Slovenia and Friday in Russia. BBC Earth channels across Africa, Asia, MENA, Turkey, Canada, Nordics and Poland will also premiere the series.
