TV4, WBD, BBCS among latest nets to shop for ‘blue light’ series at Passion Distribution

Middlechild Productions’ Coastguard: Search & Rescue SOS

TV4 in Sweden, Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) in the Netherlands and BBC Studios (BBCS) in Australia are among a host of networks to acquire ‘blue light’ unscripted shows from London-based Passion Distribution.

TV4 has acquired six seasons of Mentorn Media’s All New Traffic Cops, as has MTV in Finland, while WBD Netherlands, BBCS and Foxtel in Australia have picked up new seasons. The series’ commissioning broadcaster, Paramount-owned 5 in the UK, has also relicensed episodes.

BBCS Australia has also picked up two seasons of Middlechild Productions’ Call the Bailiffs, as have Discovery in Germany and DPG Media in Belgium, while RTL in the Netherlands has acquired three seasons.

Foxtel has additionally acquired one season of Middlechild Productions’ Coastguard: Search & Rescue SOS, while Creo Contents in Korea, Sky in New Zealand and WBD in Benelux have picked up two seasons.

Finally, NPO in the Netherlands has acquired Air TV’s Yorkshire Air 999.
